Jonathon Webber (Partner)

Jonathon Webber

Jonathon is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal and High Courts of Australia and has worked in the area of commercial litigation on the Gold Coast since 1996.

Jonathon is recognised by the Queensland Law Society as an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with particular emphasis on property disputes. Jonathon has appeared in most of the Courts and Tribunals in Queensland, the Full Federal Court and the High Court of Australia. This has given Jonathon an intimate understanding of Court processes and the strategies involved in efficient and cost effective dispute resolution. Jonathon has extensive experience in technical and complex contractual matters, land and property disputes, industrial relations, body corporate disputes and general risk management.

 

Martin Daniel (Partner)

Martin Daniel

Martin is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal and High Courts of Australia and has practised in commercial litigation for over 10 years.

Martin is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation and acts in all types of commercial disputes. Martin can provide specialised services in matters involving all forms of construction disputes and has assisted many local and national property developers, sub-contractors and home owners in resolving building contract issues.  Martin holds a Masters Degree in Intellectual Property Law and has gained experience in many forms of intellectual property disputes including trademarks, copyright and confidential information. Martin has spent a number of years working in London within the financial services sector. During this time Martin gained extensive experience with a variety of banking, investment and financial disputes. Martin has also acted in a number of taxation disputes regarding the application of the Goods and Services Tax.

 

Richard Hamilton (Consultant)


Richard Hamilton

Richard is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal and High Courts of Australia and has approximately 20 years experience in the law.  Richard has practised in commercial litigation for almost 15 years.

Richard acts in all types of commercial disputes and can provide specialised services in commercial and contract disputes involving the need for urgent injunctive relief.  Richard has acted for leading property developers and has a sound knowledge of the types of disputes which can arise in this industry.

In keeping with property development issues, Richard has had considerable experience in town planning appeals and providing advice in relation to planning and development issues.

 

Katie Hall (Associate)


Katie Hall

Katie is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.

Katie acts in all types of commercial disputes and has considerable experience in commercial property disputes, body corporate matters, debt recovery and enforcement, estate disputes, including family maintenance claims and risk management and business development.

Katie also holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting and has significant experience in financial and taxation issues.

 

 

Emily Brett (Solicitor)


Emily Brett

Emily is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.

Having joined the firm in 2008 from a leading national insurance litigation firm, Emily acts in a variety of commercial disputes and brings with her considerable experience in defending litigated and un-litigated insurance disputes including property damage and public liability disputes. Emily has also gained significant experience with the Court’s processes having been engaged to assist in a number of court applications and a complex Supreme Court trial.

Kylie McInally
